ABOUT US

Kris Nichols

Kris Nichols is Co-Executive Director of the ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia Self-Help Program, along with Margaret Walker. Kris brings executive experience to the program from her background as a vice president of a natural gas utility and service on a variety of nonprofit governing boards. Also a patient with ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia, she believes in our program's focus on patients helping patients; that learning from each other is our greatest strategy toward improved health and vitality.

Kris is a graduate of Marquette University in Civil Engineering and the Milwaukee School of Engineering with a master's degree in Engineering Management. She joined our program in 2009, began moderating our Introductory Course in 2013, and became Director of Training in 2015. She also represented our program on the U.S. Centers for Disease Control's ME/CFS Technical Development Workgroup.

The Wisconsin countryside still claims home field advantage for Kris. She indulges her love for the outdoors by spending as much time as she is able to walking through the Kettle Moraine State Forest.
