Margaret Walker
Margaret Walker is Co-Executive Director of the ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia Self-Help Program, along with
Kris Nichols. Margaret retired from a career in education that included being a school principal, teacher, district-level special education administrator, and college lecturer. As a patient with ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia, she has been with us since 2011 and has been serving as moderator for the Living Your Plan groups since July 2014.
Margaret is a graduate of Coker College, has a master's degree in Education and School Psychology from the University of South Carolina, and a PhD in Educational Leadership from the University of Nebraska. She has a strong commitment to continuous learning and growing through shared knowledge and experience. She believes this approach allows each person to develop the lifestyle management strategies that best meet their unique needs.
A native of the South Carolina coast, Margaret now lives in Lincoln, Nebraska.
